This cook set is made from stainless steel including the swing-out handles which include silicone covers to keep them cool to the touch. These three-piece German mess kits have been field-tested. Used, but in a good serviceable condition, they are lightweight and great to add to your pack. These are very similar to the Austrian mess kits with the only visible difference being in the hinge. Pair these with the German KFS sets for a complete kit.
